The last Saturday of the month of July of all the years, the traditional University Folkloric Entrance is realized, organized by university students of different faculties of the Greater University of San Andres (UMSA), the same one that crosses the center of the city of La Paz.

The University Entrance is instituted as of the year 1988. The participating students are organized in comparsas and dance groups, dancing mainly native and folkloric dances, with the aim of defending, revaluing and promoting the La Paz cultural heritage.

Among the most representative dances we can mention wititis, moceños, tata danzante, sicuris, ticca, dance arete, carnival tupiceño, flamed, antawaras, potolos, chapaqueada, chacarera, pujllay, tinkus, jula julas, tufas, calcheños, tonadas , etc.
